WELL.... IT
FINALLY HAPPENED!!!
Many of you (who are old enough) will recall the days of "rabbit ears" and ghosts on your TV signal (some of you young-uns are probably asking, "What's a 'ghost' ?"). Those of you of my generation will also recall all of the arguments the fledgling cable companies put forth to get us to "wire" our TV connections.... "A Thousand Channels", they said (and nothing worth watching, never-mind paying for). "No ghosts and perfect reception", they said (and that's one thing that's been proven true for the most part). "No commercials", they said... and that was TOTAL B.S. (not only do we have programs with near equal time with commercials, and 3-minute commercials that repeat twenty-two times during a half-hour program, but the cable companies have borrowed from those "genius" Internet marketing "gurus", and we now have pop-up ads in the lower corners of the screen DURING THE PROGRAMS we PAY for.
Enough, already! It's time that technology exacts its revenge on the LIARS at the cable companies. Enter Hi-Definition TV on your PC..... 100% FREE! All you have to have is a (decent) high-speed internet connection (NetZero and other slow dial-up users can probably forget this) and a few programs.
With this suite of a MORE THAN A DOZEN PC programs, you will be able to watch TV programs from almost any country on the planet. Many (not all) of these TV programs are Hi-Def, and if you have a large - say, 24-inch - PC monitor (as opposed to an HD-TV), your picture on the "ROCKET" program included in the archive will make HD-TV look SICK!!.... (didja' hear me?) --- SICK!! That's because flat-screen super-megatwist LCD PC monitors are MUCH higher resolution than HD-TV plasma monitors, which are CRAP by comparison.... and they COST LESS (go figure!).
In 2009, all Cable-TV signals will be DIGITAL. If you have a "REGULAR" (analog) TV set after that time, it will be an ELECTRIC DOORSTOP unless you buy a converter box that will intercept the digital signal and convert it to the same crappy R.F. or S-Video signal (albeit without the static and the "ghosts") most people are using now. When the change-over happens, don't be surprised when a "converter box" sets you back a few C-notes or better due to the "supply and demand" thing. The government will offer "subsidies" - but if you work and pay taxes, you are paying for it in the end, anyway.... in one pocket and out the other. The Cable companies will rape you over the coals - - - AGAIN! Does "windfall profits" ring a bell out there? The following quote sums it up:
".... The U.S. House of Representatives on Monday
{December 19, 2005}
set a switchover date
of February 17, 2009
when over-the-air, analog TV will be a thing
of the past.
All U.S. households will need a
converter box to receive any TV broadcast,
including free TV.

You can AVOID all this. Instead of spending mucho dineros on an HD-TV (if you haven't already) and consigning a portion of your monthly income for "a thousand channels" you don't have the time (or the stomach) to watch, and don't want ANOTHER friggin' "box" to add to the cluster-f%@k of equipment already cluttering your living room, you should TRY THIS.
Not ONLY will you be able to watch all the popular channels you are watching now.... like SPIKE, ESPN, CNN, Sci-Fi, Nickelodeon, et al., you will have access to TV and RADIO programs and sports events of practically the entire planet. You will also be able to search for and download hundreds of PC programs, games, utilities, music, movies, and much more. The "ROCKET" program (shown above) is just ONE of the Peer-to-Peer (P2P) file sharing programs included in the archive, over which you can watch practically ANY TV-program on the planet, search for and find full movies, movie trailers, PC programs, and almost any music, movie, video, or software program you can possibly imagine.... all FREE, and all 100% LEGAL.
Another great advantage for those who do a lot of traveling -- Take your laptop / notebook with you to that hotel room, campground, or anywhere you have Internet access, and you will be able to watch your favorite programs from practically anywhere!
These programs will be sent to you INSTANTLY via download. All you have to do is examine the README file for the latest information, and install each program separately and try it out. If you don't use a program, or don't like one, you can un-install it very easily. These programs are NOT "trial" versions - they are fully functional. THERE IS NOTHING ELSE TO BUY (we have included a few "trial" programs in a separate folder).
With the fully-functional programs in this archive, you will have access to over 3,000 TV Stations, Radio Programs, Movies, Trailers, Music, Software, and much more. There isn't a better deal ANYWHERE on the Internet. It took us MONTHS to find this software, test it, and make sure that it would be suitable for the majority of users.
The software included in the archive is free of viruses, Trojans, and spyware, as verified by Avast™, Norton™, and XSoft Spy-SE™ while installed and running on our own machines. I personally used one of the programs to find and download DIGITAL copies of the hundreds of music albums I have on LPs and audio tape (the young-uns are probably asking, "What's 'LP'?) going back to the 1960s, so I can have perfect recordings of "my kind of music" to listen to on my iPod.
We will also include in the archive, links to other FREE programs and neat utilities.
For about half of a typical Cable-TV monthly bill,
$21.95 USD
